A Fresh New Website & Smarter Booking

First up: Our brand new website and custom booking system are officially live! What does this mean for you? All of your appointments—private, group, events, and more—can now be scheduled, managed, and rescheduled in one place, with a single login. The client portal is fully integrated with our site, and you won’t need to fill out the same forms over and over again. Booking your next session or accessing your training resources has never been easier.

Please Note: As part of this transition, one of our cell phone phone number will be changing. We’ll share the new contact information on the website and in future emails, so please be sure to update your records!

Also Important: Our newsletter email list has been restarted to keep your information secure and up-to-date. If you’d like to receive training tips, event announcements, and special offers, you’ll need to opt in again, even if you were subscribed before. Look for an email invite soon, or sign up on our website anytime.

A Brand New Training Location

We’re also thrilled to announce that Brook’s Dog Training Academy is now offering services at a brand-new, fully fenced, one-acre field at @redwaterhaunt in Avon Park. This larger, secure outdoor space will let dogs of all energy levels stretch their legs, build new skills, and enjoy a safe, open environment you may not have access to at home.

Exciting New: Mini Sessions & Training Field Rentals

To celebrate our new location, we’re launching two fresh services at a special introductory price, designed with your needs and your dog’s joy in mind.

Mini Sessions: Focused, Flexible, & Fun

Mini Sessions are 30-minute, one-on-one outdoor lessons where you work with a certified trainer on the skill that matters most to you right now. These sessions are personalized and practical, great for dogs and handlers at any level, and especially valuable if you want to focus on just one thing, build confidence outside, or test the waters before committing to a bigger program.

You’ll choose from five popular topics when booking:
• Reliable Recall
• Settle on Mat
• Leash & Long Line Skills
• Stay & Wait
• Enrichment, Nosework & Tricks

Every Mini Session includes one-on-one coaching, step-by-step practice, a take-home guide, and real-time feedback. All out in the fresh air. They're perfect for new dog owners, seasoned handlers working on a specific skill, busy families, dogs that need outdoor focus, and anyone looking for an affordable, flexible training option.

Training Field Rentals: Private Space, Real-World Practice

Training Field Rentals offer exclusive use of our secure one-acre field for you and your dog; whether you want to practice skills, do enrichment games, let your dog run and explore safely, or just enjoy time outdoors together. These handler-led sessions let you go at your own pace, with a trainer nearby for support if needed, and access to basic training equipment upon request.

Field rentals are ideal if you don’t have a fenced yard, your dog needs extra exercise, you’re working on real-world skills, or you simply want to give your dog a fun change of scenery. You can also play games with your dog that require a bit more space such as fetch or frisbee.

Pilot Program Details

Both new services are available for select morning and late afternoon timeslots, so everyone can train safely and comfortably while avoiding the midday heat. We’re running these as a pilot for May and early June at special reduced rates, and we fully expect spots to go quickly. After that, we’ll gather feedback and decide how to move forward with these programs.
